Founded in the 1930’s as The Steel Products Company, Great Dane Trailers completed its first piggyback trailer and shipping container in the 1960’s. Great Dane purchased Arrow Trailers in 1972 and in 1997 Great Dane and Pines merged to form Great Dane Limited Partnership- one of the world’s largest trailer company. To further increase productivity, in 2001 Great Dane acquired the facilities of Strick Trailer Co. in Abbeville, SC and Danville, PA. Great Dane currently produces dry freight vans, reefer vans, and platform, flatbed and drop deck trailers.
With over 25 years of experience, ETR has the ability to repair/rebuild all damaged equipment. In reefer repair, all foam is applied in place, never shaved down or sprayed. Our fully staffed facility ensures high quality and quick turn-around time. ETR offers pick up and delivery of equipment in the Chicago land area.
